NBCU’s Third Annual Event to Feature Panel Discussion with dentsu, Havas Media, Horizon Media, Omnicom Media Group, OpenAP, Paramount, and TelevisaUnivision

 

  • Today, NBCUniversal announced that representatives leading the formation of the Joint Industry Committee (JIC) dedicated to premium video currency will participate in a panel discussion at One23, NBCU’s annual developer conference.
  • On January 9th, 2023, national programmers including NBCUniversal, Paramount, TelevisaUnivision, Fox, Warner Bros. Discovery, and industry bodies VAB and OpenAP made history by announcing the formation of the first-ever U.S. Joint Industry Committee (JIC) dedicated to premium video currency. The JIC’s primary focus is to enable multiple currencies and to create a measurement certification process for the premium video marketplace to establish the suitability of emerging cross-platform measurement solutions in advance of the 2024 upfront.
  • The JIC panel at One23 marks the first time that broadcasters, holding companies and industry bodies will join each other onstage for a state of the industry conversation to discuss the progress being made to develop measurement certification standards, ahead of its first ever in-person event on April 25th.
