Technology company Intel wanted to inform high-level decision-makers across a wide range of industries of the capabilities of its AI platforms, using Olympics and Paralympics activations as examples of what the technology can do.
Activations at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games were identified and used to showcase the capabilities of Intel’s AI platforms and their real-world applications across industries. The content promotion was timed to coincide with the Olympic Games’ broadcast.
Four custom articles, each highlighting a unique use case, were distributed across CNBC.com and websites of eight local NBC markets as part of a multi-channel marketing strategy. Articles received additional promotion via a custom Stories Unit and a Content Portal Rich Media Unit. Key messaging points from each article were then distilled into four social “explainer” videos, published via the CNBC and NBC local social handles. This cross-platform advertising approach extended video promotion beyond social audiences into CNBC.com via Video Cards and on Peacock via CTV ads. Both products included QR codes and CTA buttons that drove viewers to read the articles in full.
The Intel campaign exceeded benchmarks in content engagement and click-through rates, delivering exceptional performance across multiple formats and strategically aligning with Intel’s high-profile presence at the Olympic Games to maximize impact.
