Fandango Brand Guidelines

 

  • Competitor advertising call-outs not allowed on Display or Video assets provided for the Fandango Network (i.e., Moviepass, Moviefone, Atom Tickets, or IMDB)
  • Competitors cannot be accessible/seen on outside studio film trailer site’s CTR-URL (when outside of ticketing week)
  • Movie Theater Exhibitors with whom Fandango does not have a ticketing agreement
  • Advertisements promoting/utilizing the services of other movie ticketing companies (Hollywood Movie Money, Movie Cash, etc.)
  • The following are not suitable for advertising on the Movies sites:
    • Political campaigns, positions or statements
    • Online Casino Gambling
    • Adult-oriented prescription drugs (e.g. Viagra, Cialis)
    • Hard liquor
    • Highly graphic violence, weaponry or death
    • Contraceptives/Birth Control/Abortion Services (male and female)
    • Adult & R-rated display ads must be targeted away from Family, G and PG content.

Click-Through Guidelines

 

  • Ticketing Ads must link to Fandango.com
  • Non-ticketing Ads can link to exhibitor sites ONLY on Powster.com
  • Exception to any of the above listed guidelines must first be approved by the head of Advertising Sales. Please consult your Sales Executive prior to submitting
  • We do not allow PVOD (Premiere Video On Demand) messaging for a Theatrical placement
